A small firm has one real advantage on a commercial job: the person who quotes it is the person on site, so nothing gets lost between the estimator and the van. Peter prices the work, does the work and answers the phone about the work.
In practice that means shop and office installations, lighting and small power for units and workshops, additional circuits for new equipment, distribution and containment where a space is being changed around, fault finding when something on the floor keeps dropping out, and smoke and heat detection.
It also means being straight about scale. We're two people, so we'll tell you honestly whether a job suits us or wants a bigger outfit — and if it's the latter, we'd rather say so at the quote stage than halfway through your fit-out.

Scheduling
Around your trading hours, not ours.
We're available seven days a week, which for commercial clients mostly matters at the weekend and before opening. Isolations that take a floor off supply get planned in advance and agreed with you in writing, so nobody discovers the tills are down at half past nine on a Saturday.

Look first, price after
For anything beyond a like-for-like swap we come and look. Commercial installations rarely match the drawing, and a quote based on a phone call is a quote that changes.

Agreed downtime
Where the supply has to come off, you get the window in advance and we stick to it. Weekend and early starts are normal for us rather than a favour.

Certified and recorded
Installation work tested and certified, boards labelled, and a clear record of what was installed where — the paperwork your insurer and your landlord will both ask for eventually.
